Want to join our efforts but not sure where to start? Volunteer Your Time and take advantage of this incredible opportunity to lend your support. It’s a great way to contribute to our cause, and every little bit counts towards paving the path for a better tomorrow.
All volunteers are required to complete the online application located on the website under the Volunteers tab - https://www.owl4lives.com/
All volunteers are required to complete a level one background check – this can be done for free at the local Police Substation. Background check are required within 60 days of the Tea Party and should be turned in at least 2 weeks before the event.
Volunteers should bring a copy of the background check to the volunteer training. All copies should be given to Marjorie for record keeping purposes
Volunteers should wear comfortable shoes on the day of the event as there will be a lot of walking and standing –a red T-Shirts will help quickly identify a volunteer should a girl be seen walking away with an adult
Volunteers should encourage the girls to clean up after themselves so that it minimizes the amount of cleaning required after the event
Remind the volunteers that the safety of the girls is our utmost priority so they should be watchful of all girls at all times
There will be a mandatory training March 27, 2020 @ 6:30. Location TBA. The training will last approximately 1 hour.
